Some high risk North Carolinians are still having to wait to get their COVID-19 vaccines

While some North Carolinians are now able to get the vaccine, others are still waiting. People with chronic medical conditions and elevated risk factors are some of the most vulnerable to COVID-19. However, they aren’t scheduled to become eligible for the vaccine until March 24. Advocates say they deserve to be prioritized in the state’s vaccination plan.
