Carrboro High School student coalition launches a podcast amplifying local Black student experiences

By Meredith Radford

Students at Carrboro High School launched a new podcast last week. Produced by the Black and Brown Student Coalition, the podcast features anonymous voices talking about Black Lives Matter and their experiences as Black students in the Chapel Hill-Carrboro area. They answered questions like “How did you process George Floyd’s murder and the protests that followed?” and “How should teachers go about discussing systemic racism with white students?”

Meredith Radford spoke with Black and Brown Student Coalition Co-Presidents Julian Taylor and Phoenix Tudryn.
