Local animal shelter adjusts adoption event to help pets find their forever homes virtually

Paws4Ever, an animal shelter in Mebane, has hosted an annual festival and fundraising walk for over a decade. However, because of the pandemic, the event was virtual this year. During the whole month of October, all adoption fees for cats and dogs were waived and people could take home their new furry friends for free.
