Group ranks UNC 37th in the nation for free speech protections

UNC-Chapel Hill ranked 37th in the nation for the school’s free speech policies. The ranking came from the Foundation for Individual Rights and Education, also known as FIRE. The group takes into account how students feel about sharing their opinions in a classroom setting.
