Members of the UNC community are worried about changes to Title IX

Some people at UNC are concerned that sexual misconduct may now go unpunished. The U.S. Department of Education has issued new standards for the regulation known as Title IX, which covers sex discrimination. The Trump Administration says colleges must provide due process for people accused of sexual misconduct. That reverses the Obama Administration’s strict protections for sexual assault survivors.
