COVID stinks: UNC researcher uses sewage to track coronavirus spread

UNC researchers have been at the forefront of studying COVID-19, including Rachel Noble. Noble, a distinguished professor and viral pathogens researcher, has been using unconventional methods to measure North Carolina’s coronavirus outbreaks.

Annelise Collins spoke with Noble about how she’s using sewage and wastewater to better understand how the disease spreads.
