Amid the pandemic, one UNC student also was displaced by a tornado

Several tornadoes ripped through North and South Carolina Monday. Emma Kenfield is a UNC student who was forced to temporarily evacuate her quarantine location at her parents’ vacation home in Cashiers, N.C. Still, she had to continue going to her remote classes.

Emma tells us about trying to evacuate during a global pandemic.
