Petitions call for UNC to end its moratorium on renaming campus buildings

A group of professors, staff, and students wants to make it possible for UNC to rename campus buildings.  In 2015, the Board of Trustees passed a moratorium on renaming. That came in response to concerns that several buildings at UNC are named for white supremacists. The group wants the moratorium lifted.
