Student filmmakers’ hard work pays off at the Campus Movie Fest

UNC junior Ellie Baker submitted nine films for consideration and won ‘Best Actress.’ (Morgan Teeters / Carolina Connection).

It can take years for Hollywood to make a major Blockbuster film. Some UNC students tried to make masterpiece short films in a week. Campus Movie Fest sponsored a competition on campus for student filmmaker to make five minute films in less than a week.
