Some students are criticizing the investigation into police conduct during protests

Some students are criticizing the findings of an independent investigation of UNC Police conduct. Interim Chancellor Kevin Guskiewicz released the report Tuesday. It was conducted by Charlotte attorney Chris Swecker – a former assistant director of the FBI.

It concluded that police made some mistakes in their handling of several incidents involving Silent Sam and Confederate protesters.  But the report dismissed allegations that police were favorably disposed to the Confederate groups.
