UNC celebrates its 226th birthday by emphasizing its service to North Carolina

226 years after its founding, UNC is celebrating its birthday once again. Faculty, staff, and students will gather in Memorial Hall to celebrate the nation’s oldest public university at the annual University Day ceremony.

Charlotte Ix reports.
