As the farm economy worsens, farmers are experiencing more mental health issues

A recent report from the CDC found that men working as farmers, ranchers, and agricultural managers had a suicide rate twice that of the general population. And while the findings are from 2015, those who work in agriculture say things may be worse than ever for North Carolina farmers.
