Many students ignore the law that bans more than four unrelated tenants in a house

When moving off-campus, some of the main things students think about are how much space they’ll have, whether they can afford a room of their own, and if they can share a place with their friends.

But what they might not consider is that it’s illegal in Chapel Hill for more than four unrelated people to live in the same house.
