At this Carrboro market, it’s truly a free-for-all

Looking for a collection of Barbara Streisand records? Or maybe a sweet treat? All for free? On the first Saturday of every month, the Carrboro Town Commons transforms.

The anti-Capitalist banners go up, and mounds of clothes, books, and toys are set out as dozens, sometimes hundreds, of residents peruse the Really Really Free Market.
