Donation will build new cutting edge center for School of Media and Journalism

Thanks to a donation from the Curtis Foundation, UNC will be investing in the future of journalism.

The University will use $8 million of the donation to build the cutting edge Curtis Media Center next to the School’s of Media and Journalism’s current facilities at Carroll Hal.

 It’s part of a larger $21.275 million gift from the Curtis Foundation. Other funds will go to UNC Medicine and the athletic department.
