The U.S. Senate is set to confirm Judge Brett Kavanaugh Saturday to become the newest Supreme Court justice. The vote will follow weeks of controversy surrounding Kavanaugh’s past. This was highlighted by last week’s dramatic hearing where UNC alumna Christine Blasey Ford claimed Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her in high school.

Those allegations and President Trump’s reaction to them this week have sparked debate across campus.
