Kavanaugh hearing reminds UNC students of their experiences with sexual assault

The fate of Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination to the U.S. Supreme Court is uncertain after senate leaders have agreed to reopen his FBI background check. That happened after Thursday’s dramatic testimony by Christine Blasey Ford who says Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her in high school.

As the events of the week unfolded they were trying for many Americans, but especially for those who have experienced sexual assault. Mitra Norowzi talked with a few in Chapel Hill.
