UNC’s responds to Florence with both immediate and long term help

The UNC athletic department has put its football truck into use to carry hurricane recovery supplies to eastern North Carolina. (UNC-Chapel Hill)

A lot of faculty and students at UNC have friends and family living in the areas hit hardest by the storm. They have come together to provide aid for those parts of the state.
