DACA creates uncertainty for graduating UNC student

With graduation right around the corner, many students are planning the next chapter of their lives – starting careers, heading to graduate school, or pursuing other goals.

But one student graduating in May has a future dependent on the government and courts. All because of DACA – or the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program.

The program was started by former President Barack Obama to protect children of undocumented immigrants, but its future is undetermined.
