Faith-based counselors help UNC Health Care treat mental health patients

One in 25 adults in the U.S. is living with a serious mental illness. As one of the largest health providers in the state, UNC Health Care is at the forefront of psychiatric care.

But, with limited funds and scarce resources, UNC’s WakeBrook psychiatric hospital is looking past traditional health care professionals for help.
