On UNC’s 224th birthday, Cooper urges renewed commitment to education

Thursday was the University Day ceremony, a celebration of all things UNC and the people who make it up.

Governor Roy Cooper returned to his alma mater to emphasize the importance of public higher education and express optimism about UNC’s role in shaping the future.
