Students with ties to Syria worry about loved ones’ safety

UNC students with ties to Syria are angry and fearful after a chemical attack in the country resulted in close to eighty civilian casualties earlier this month. Although the students were out of harm’s way, they still worry about the safety of their loved ones and future of their homeland.
