BOG public comment period seeks to limit protests

The UNC System Board of Governors held its first meeting Friday since school began this fall. This past spring, it was common to see and hear student protesters at these meetings.

But those protesters were nowhere to be found this week. That may be because the Board has created a public comments section in an attempt to keep things more orderly. It gives people about three minutes each to voice their concerns before the Board. Tony Liu reports.
