Spellings has long education background in Texas

The newly chosen UNC System president, Margaret Spellings, officially takes office Tuesday, despite strong pushback from some students and faculty in the system. Spellings started her career in Texas before being named Secretary of Education under George W. Bush.

Reporter Sharon Nunn traveled to Austin to look at Spellings’ background.
