Youth more engaged in political and civic issues

Today is the South Carolina Republican Primary, and a new study proves just how important the college vote will be in this election.  

The Cooperative Institutional Research Program at UCLA surveyed nearly 150,000 full-time, first-year students from across the country. The survey found that interest in political and civic engagement has reached the highest levels since the study began 50 years ago.

Dr. Kevin Eagan, the managing director for the study, joined us to discuss these findings.
