UNC study finds contaminated water in Wake County wells

A new UNC study says some Wake County residents are drinking contaminated water. The study looked at 57 homes outside city limits that get their water from private wells.

The researchers say those residents need access to clean city water, but county leaders say providing it would be both complicated and costly.
