As investigation continues, Belichick tries to turn the conversation back to football

As the UNC football team plays its second game of the season, Coach Bill Belichick will be without General Manager Michael Lombardi and Defensive Coordinator Steve Belichick.

Lombardi resigned September 3, while Steve Belichick — Bill’s son — remains on indefinite medical leave.

UNC is investigating the football program. WRAL has reported the investigation concerns several allegations — including that Steve Belichick provided drugs to at least one player … and that a recruiting staff member had a sexual relationship with a player.
