This year’s severe drought is a challenge for Coker Arboretum’s plants – and their caretakers

Almost all of North Carolina is experiencing a severe drought. Some areas across the state, including Raleigh and Charlotte, have implemented water restrictions.

Anthony Guerra-Flores went to Coker Arboretum on UNC’s campus, where the plants are facing what some experts are calling the worst drought of the decade.
