For college students without cars, grocery shopping can be difficult and expensive

For students living on university campuses without a car, getting to a grocery store for nutritious food can be a struggle. Many campuses in North Carolina are what the federal government calls “low food access areas,” where many students can’t easily walk to a supermarket.
