UNC’s men’s basketball team is 7-1 after Tuesday’s big win against Kentucky. The team’s roster changed dramatically from last season, in part because of recent developments like the transfer portal, Name, Image, Likeness, and direct compensation to student athletes. This will be the first time since the ’05-’06 season that UNC didn’t return a player who started more than 20 games.

Andrew Sellers has more on how fans are connecting with the new players.
