An award-winning UNC English professor combines basketball with poetry

A pickup basketball game usually involves music and occasional smack talk, but one UNC professor shoots hoops while reciting poetry. Each week, English professor Gabrielle Calvocoressi meets students on the basketball court for sessions she calls “Oh Shoot.”
