UNC’s School of Dentistry hosts its annual DEAH Day to honor slain student through service

It’s been ten years since UNC dental student Deah Barakat, his wife Yusor Abu-Salha, and sister in law Razan Abu-Salha were murdered in their Chapel Hill home. The UNC Adams School of Dentistry is still honoring their memory. Wednesday, the School canceled class and encouraged students, faculty, and staff to participate in acts of service.

Liana Riachi spoke with some of the people who made it happen.
