In this UNC English class, students write songs instead of essays

Instead of worrying about verbs and metaphors, students in English 409 at UNC are working through verses and melodies. These students don’t turn in essays – they write songs.

Andy Zhao listens in to hear how students are exploring how to be vulnerable through their lyrics.
