UNC leaders urge patience after Trump’s funding freeze

Many research programs at UNC are in limbo after President Trump’s executive orders freezing federal funding. Federal judges have blocked several of those orders, but it’s not clear whether the money will be reinstated.

UNC leaders addressed the situation yesterday at a meeting of the Faculty Council.
