Following the election, experts have begun to pore over exit polling data to find out what worked for President-Elect Donald Trump’s campaign, and what went wrong for Vice President Kamala Harris. An ABC News exit poll showed 47 percent of North Carolina voters said they’re worse off now than they were four years ago. That’s more than double the number who said that in 2020. The economy was the number one issue for North Carolina voters.
UNC experts discussed how these and other factors influenced the outcome of the election with Carolina Connection’s Madeline Ahmadi.
