The French Ambassador is visiting the Triangle, where his country’s influence is growing

Laurent Bili, the French Ambassador to the United States, will continues his tour of the U.S. with a stop in the Triangle next week.

His visit follows Governor Cooper’s Economic Development Trip to France in May. Both show a commitment to increasing French influence in North Carolina.

Over 32,000 North Carolinians speak French at home, meaning French influence is here – but hidden.
