It’s not over until the Electoral College votes: Inside one of America’s longstanding traditions

While most Americans have already cast their ballots in the 2020 election, there is one major group that hasn’t: the electoral college. Once the results in each state are official, this group of 538 will formally meet to elect the next president of the United States in time for the January inauguration.
