Some Chapel Hill town leaders met this week to discuss a problem that’s prevalent in just about every college town – students and other community members who drink too much.
Recent data shows that since 2013, the percentage of UNC students who engage in high-risk drinking has actually decreased from 40% to about 35%. That’s according to a local group called The Campus and Community Coalition to Reduce the Negative Effects of High-risk Drinking.
Still, the coalition is working to get that number even lower. Charlotte Ix reports.
