National Coming Out Day is a time of celebration and reflection for UNC LGBTQ+ community

The UNC community celebrated National Coming Out Day with celebrations in the Pit and outside Lenoir Dining Hall (Annabeth Poe / Carolina Connection).

The LGBTQ+ community and allies across the country celebrated National Coming Out Day on Oct. 12.

Patrick Rosemond found out more about why it’s meaningful to many UNC students.
