For Carrboro residents near Tom’s Creek, floods have become a regular event

The Tom’s Creek watershed in Carrboro is prone to frequent flooding. Residents in the Toms Creek area have spent years petitioning for updated infrastructure and assistance with their property damage. Recently, the town has taken new measures to respond to those requests, but residents say it’s not enough.
