New scholarship will target middle-income students who fall through the cracks

It’s a common problem at UNC.

Middle income students are falling through the cracks. Their families aren’t wealthy enough to pay for college without help, but they’re not poor enough to qualify for low income programs like Carolina Covenant.

Now a new scholarship program called Blue Sky Scholars will try to address those stuck in-between.
