UNC graduate student Maya Little faced the Honor Court this week, where she was on trial for pouring paint and her own blood on the Confederate monument Silent Sam in April.

Little was found to be responsible for damage to university property.

The court handed down sanctions that included a letter of warning and 18 hours of community service.
