Protesters want UNC to put its money where its art is

Walk through UNC’s campus and you’ll find interactive art exhibits like colorful duct tape and spinny chairs. They’re part of the Arts Everywhere, a highly-publicized initiative to bring art to all students.

But people who study art at UNC say the university isn’t committed to their department.

They held a protest this week to demand that the University put its money where its art is.
