Critically endangered lemurs find a haven with the Blue Devils

Duke University is associated with many things: Basketball, Blue Devils and gothic architecture. Most people probably don’t think of endangered primates and the protection of their species.

Yet the Duke Lemur Center hosts the largest, most diverse population of lemurs outside of their native Madagascar.
