Board considers adding signs, multimedia to Silent Sam

The UNC-Chapel Hill Board of Trustees is considering making Silent Sam not so silent. The board’s University Affairs Committee met Wednesday and heard from a Task Force on UNC History.

It proposed adding signs and multimedia to the Confederate soldier statue to help provide historical context.
