Now we take you to Puerto Rico, for a story about how the aftermath of hurricane Maria is affecting families there.

It’s been two months since Maria hit, and for weeks after the storm many people had a hard time locating relatives who live on the island.

Angel Lopez, a UNC Public Health Graduate, went back to his home in Puerto Rico to look for relatives in October. He found some of them… but didn’t have time to locate the others.

Student reporter Anne Marie Hagerty decided to go to Puerto Rico and continue his search.
