Opponents, supporters of Silent Sam speak out at hearing

Protesters again gathered around the Silent Sam statue this week. They were protesting the confederate monument on UNC’s McCorkle Place.

Meanwhile, members of the university community got the chance to speak about the issue to Chancellor Folt and the Board of Trustees Wednesday. Rachel Bridges was at that meeting.
