Appearance by Trump advisor sparks protests

Another protest was held on campus this week. Former White House advisor Sebastian Gorka came to speak at UNC Monday, which led many students and community members to demonstrate outside the event.

This was the first protest on campus since the UNC Board of Governors began considering a free speech policy that would allow the university to discipline students and faculty who disrupt speaking events like Gorka’s.
