Silent Sam opponents threaten federal lawsuit

The long-running controversy over Silent Sam may end up in federal court. Wednesday, attorney Hampton Dillinger, on behalf of the Black Law Students Association, sent a letter to UNC requesting the immediate removal of the confederate monument.

Carolina Connection’s Austin Goins is in the studio this morning to talk about the implications of the letter.
