Community remembers “Our Three Winners”

February 10 marked the one-year anniversary of the fatal shooting that killed Deah Barakat, his wife Yusor Abu-Salha, and her sister Razan Abu-Salha. Deah was a first year dental school student at UNC and Yusor had just been accepted into the same program. Razan was a design student at NC State.

A year later, Tar Heels and Wolfpack alike have come together to mourn, celebrate and continue the legacy of the “Three Winners.” One way that the community has done this is through a charity inspired by Deah himself.
